Before becoming a therapist, I was involved in business, training and development and emergency medical response for the Red Cross. These activities helped me realize how important our connections are to our mental and physical health.
Living a Fulfilled Life
Fulfillment is the very thing that achievement and money cannot buy. It allows us to live longer and with greater satisfaction. And making connections is vital. I believe that we do best in a supportive community of family, friends, and—if we are fortunate—an intimate partner. A well-lived life brings the body, mind and soul together. Knowing this, I want to help clients appreciate how precious their lives are and live in the best way possible.
My Work as a Therapist
Humans are complex, idiosyncratic and unique. Their complexity fascinates me and fills me with awe. I customize treatment to individuals, families, parents and couples—studying and using psychobiological, humanistic and research-based treatment models. My own life experiences have motivated me to help others build, manage and maintain rewarding, high-quality relationships.
As a therapist, I have committed to continuously honing my professional skills. I enjoy keeping up to date on the latest brain science and using the information to help my clients resolve issues quickly and effectively.
